The Wifi connection was often lost, even though the computer was in the same room. It also had trouble printing from PDF files. An error message would appear on the printer and fail to print the PDF. Save yourself the trouble and get another laser printer. This one was just too much trouble.

Touched the right arrow key instead of ok when the english language was visible and could not get it to go back to the english language to complete set up. Have not been able to use printer.

When I purchased the printer, the customer service agent said that the printer didn't auto feed. He never mentioned that it doesn't print on both side of the paper. Terrible! Why would you even make a printer like that. How can I return it?

Printer seems like it would be nice if it works! Unfortunately, getting it to function on a dual band router is very difficult. Strange that the software can't handle this in 2023, but I guess that's the case.

Great Color Laserjet all in one printer and having a smaller ffootprint is a bonus for a home or for a small office . The features like having Ethernet port, Wireless, and USB gives the owner a choice of setup networking options. Plus many more options of the larger size printers.

Only had it a week. Prints nice. Not a fan of the setup process (just give me a disk/thumb drive). Scan software is lacking (can't do multi-page pdf at 600 dpi). Came with toner cartridges.

Loses connectivity to the network all the time. As previous people have said, you end up spending a lot of time trying to get it to reconnect and have to reinstall. Does not print large PDFs over wireless. Extremely expensive ink toner cartridges that you have to buy very often- do not believe the numbers they give you for pages printed per toner cartridge. Very heavy to lift for home use. Not user friendly for set up. Very frustrating to use in general but does print high quality pages

The printer arrived in a box that was wet. When I started to open it the inside was even more wet. I did not remove the printer or anything else from the box. I just closed it again and taped it. Since it is an electronic component I did not think this was a good thing. I called hp customer service to get a return label. They said that I would have to speak to a specialist. The specialist would call me in two to three business days. One never called. A week or more later I received an email with a return label. This was after three calls to hp. This is what I consider bad customer service, an unnecessarily complicated process.

Not too happy with the printer. It is not very user friendly - programming is on a touch screen, but user manual is in Spanish, and I don't speak Spanish. I also have problems connecting the printer to my CT6 Ethernet cable to allow printer to work of ethernet rather than wireless. Large PDF Files do not print over wireless.

I don't understand why 5x7 photo paper is no longer an option but HP support is no help at all. The printer performs well as a desktop printer but I have yet to try scanner or copy functions. Printing photos wirelessly from a phone has also proven challenging. I have spent 10 hours to print six 4x6 photos from a phone using HP software including installation and setup.

My refurbished printer came with 3 out of the 4 toner cartridges empty. It cost more than $200 to buy new cartridges to fix the printer. It took a long time to understand tge error message on the printer.

Terrible connectivity and support, would never connect to either a 2.4 or 5.0ghz network and has both options. Pretty terrible colour calibration and very limited settings, my $60 Epson inkjet is 100x better with colour, ended up just going full wired connection to network and my PC via USB because wireless printing was impossible at hours of troubleshooting help from HP and is obviously seen as something I am doing wrong. Now HP Smart will not find my printer properly, it finds it, says Online and when you click "add printer" it shows an error and gets stuck in "printer status unknown". Sick of the headache and going to try and get a refund.

I use this printer provided by my employer, and the quality of printing is good. The biggest issue I have is the printer staying connected. The printer will be turned on and not in "sleep mode" but when trying to print from the computer, it will say the computer is offline. Some days it works and stays connected, other days involve a trial of troubleshooting, restarting the printer, reconnecting the wifi connection, disconnecting the printer from the computer and reconnecting. My aboslute favorite part is when I run the diagnostics through the HP app on the computer and it tells me that the ONLY issue is that the printer needs to be turned on, when CLEARLY it is turned on. It's a huge headache and it's very time consuming. Although, in reading the other reviews today, I'm honestly relieved that I'm not the only one having this issue.

Don't buy this printer if you want to connect via wifi. I've had nothing but issues staying connected. Every time I try to use it the printer is offline. I have to run diagnostics and after several minutes I may get lucky and finally have it connect. It's not my internet or my wifi router because I recently changed internet providers and routers and still having same issue. Finally broke down and bought a long printer cable. Given up on the wifi connection. My co-worker has the same printer at home with the same exact issues. So frustrating because with the way my setup is, having a 10' cable running through my apt is not ideal.

The M182 arrived with the scanner not working and the red color for the toner not working. After removing and replacing the toner barrels the red toner started working and the color printing is acceptable. The scanner appears to be jammed and the scanner head does not move. I have reached out HP by email and have had no response. I am really disappointed in the customer service as well as the product.
