I had pool experience with the HP+ program and customer service process even though the printer itself has good quality I think. I wanted to buy a printer that I can print whenever and wherever when the power is on. But with this printer and HP+, I had a hard time to activate the printer. The new one came with a cartridge pre-installed. But it didn't recognize the cartridge and complained the cartridge was used or counterfeit. Come on, it was a new printer from HP and the cartridge came with it. I cannot copy or do whatever. Called customer service many times for help to finish setup, I was pushed around all over the world. Finally got someone from support and she said she was not trained to support the 4010 series. If not supported, why did the company sell it? I usually use HP LaserJet and buys HP cartridge, with the HP+, it ruined my experience and forced me to go shopping for other printers. So I had to return the printer. The HP+ program is a bad idea.

Needed a fax to keep all my doctors in the loop. Hp smart enables me to fax stuff from one to the other. They're not on same portal and don't enable uploads.

Just bought this HP printer. Lost an entire day fixing numerous set up issues that appear to be standard for many other users. Want to print from PDF Files? Be sure to uninstall and reinstall adobe acrobat pro or you won't be able to print. Want to print from your phone using the HP Smart App? Be prepared for a long, cumbersome process that continually requires you to log back in.. The desktop app is also very cumbersome as is the account you are forced to create to activate the printer and grant permission to other users. Lots of complication for what should be a very simple process.

The HP printer MFP 4101fdwe is performing very well. The support staff was terrific is helping me to install the printer in our office. We have received two faxes in the last week, but have not faxed out, but I am confident that support will help me if needed.

Not happy with this new printer/scanner. The sleep function hangs the printer up. It shows up as offline to workstations and we have to unplug the printer to reset it since the power button does not turn the machine off. Paying IT consultant to troubleshoot with HP as I write this.

Great printer. Checks almost everything I need for my small business. The only con is that I somehow can never get the copy features to work using the touchscreen. Fortunately, there is a standalone app that do those copy features wirelessly. Overall a great printer and would. definitely recommend to anyone.

I have used HP printers for years and they have always been reliable, fast, and perfect size for a small office. This printer is no exception. I have tried other brands and nothing compares to the reliability of this printer when it comes to print quality, speed, scanning, and Wi-Fi connectivity. You absolutely must purchase if you are considering it. You will be glad you made the right choice.

Initially purchased a lower grade model and subsequently change my order to the 4101 and I'm glad I did. Setting up was a breeze and the machine is lightening quick. I never thought that printer speed was important, but now that I have this machine I have learned that it is extremely important.

I just set on of these up for on of our job sites. It is infuriating to setup. Why can?t I just plug it in, set a static IP and use the dang printer??? HP makes you go through this stupid account setup and activation and without that the printer is useless. We buy a lot of HP?s for our business. Since I buy them for our region, I will not be buying anymore HP?s. I don?t want them monitoring our printing and I don?t like being forced to register an account just to use a printer. All so they can force you to buy their ink/toner.

I received the LaserJet Pro 4101 for free for my honest review. As a small business owner, this printer serves my every need. It's small, but gives me as many options as a large industrial copier/printer. It's fast and the prints are crisp. Overall, I'd say this printer is 5/5. It's a little pricey, but I consider it an investment for the future!

The printer is fast! I did 12 pages from my I Phone and they printed in 23 seconds from start to finish. That includes the short warm-up. Quality is excellent, crisp and dark. As a copier it?s fast too. No scanner warm-up needed and prints come out quickly. 2 sided printing is available from 2 separate scanned documents or can be done as separate copies. That is chosen from the LCD display. The document feeder works fast but the ?slides? on the edges must be adjusted next to your originals or you will get skewed copies appearing slanted.

I purchased this for a business and don't want it to be connected to the internet. I guess, to get this to work it has to be connected at all times. I tried getting a pairing code a few times and this failed for about an hour and now I'm done. It sound like it will not work unless connected at all time to the internet. I was hoping to get the pairing code and then it might work but it is basically bricked out of the box for me. Returning and going to look for last years modal, those work great! If I could I would bill HP for the 3 hours I will never get back in my life.

This was my first experience with a Laser Printer, as opposed to an Inkjet. As a teacher who is constantly printing worksheets, lesson plans and activity pages throughout the week, I needed a printer that was both quick and consistent. Set-up was fairly seamless and easy-to-understand. Connecting to my wireless network was simple, although with our occasionally unstable network connection it did take a few tries to establish the initial connection. Otherwise, no issues with the initial start-up! It was also critical that I found a printer which would not cost me loads on ink - especially given my past experiences with using printers that quickly have the ink dry up. The toner cartridges that the LaserJet uses are a great alternative, that already seem to give me an abundance of prints with crisper quality, without immediately running ?low? or drying out, as other printers ink cartridges have. On top of this, the speed at which the printer prints is remarkable. With my last printer, I would have to wait 5-10 minutes just to get a few copies made, but with this LaserJet the minutes have turned to mere seconds! It?s an absolute dream, as it doesn?t take too much of my time away from my classroom and students. I?ve always loved the convenience of being able to print directly from my phone with the click of a button - this printer works great at doing so. I can print from my classroom and go retrieve my prints from the office without issue. The range is exceptional. I will note though that I am still trying to figure out how to get my tablet connected to the printer, so that I don?t have to email my documents to myself to print them from my phone. I?m hoping to figure this out soon because it would definitely save me a little bit of trouble! On another note, I do appreciate that this printer is not as big and bulky as I initially anticipated it would be. It actually fits perfectly on the desk in the office, despite being a larger than the last printer. Overall, I?d definitely recommend this printer to those who have an everyday need to print documents - especially my fellow teachers and office workers. It is fast, reliable, and provides great quality prints, copies & scans all at the click of a button! Please Note: I received this printer for free in exchange for my honest review and impression.

It was exciting to receive this free sample office printer and being able to write this review. The HP LaserJet was easy to set-up and use. Some of the features included scan and fax capability. I had to figure out how to set it on quiet mode because it was louder than I wanted. The process of doing that was simple. If I had one complaint it would be that I don't have a color option. Overall, I feel it is definitely a top of the line office printer.

I received this printer for free to test it out. It was easy to set up and easy to use. I would definitely look to buy this printer if in the market for a home printer. I feel like most people would not have a problem with setup and use of this printer.

I received a free printer to review and can't believe how wonderful it works! We've gone through our share of printers before and this one exceeded all expectations - quality, speed, and even has faxing capability. This printer is highly recommended if you work 100% remote.
