Merging the timeless Fender look and its modern features, the company has just released its latest series: the American Performer. With six guitars and three bass models, the new series includes Yosemite pickups, contemporary neck profiles, and custom circuitry that delivers on impressive tone and performance.

Fender has outdone itself once again with the new American Performer Stratocaster (). This electric guitar model, known simply as the “Strat,” with the famous double cut-away horn shape, now features three Yosemite single-coil pickups, the Greasebucket tone circuitry, a maple modern “C” shaped neck, alder body, and a 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo. Diverse in tones, the “Strat” continues to be a favorite model no matter how varied your musical style.

There’s a reason Fender has continuously manufactured the Stratocaster model since 1954. Guitarists love the looks and the double cutaway for effortless high position playing. The American Performer Stratocaster HSS () includes a combination of Yosemite single-coil pickups and a DoubleTap humbucking bridge pickup for a rich variety of tones ideal in any musical style. It also features the Greasebucket tone circuitry, alder body, maple or rosewood 9.5” radius fingerboard, a 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo, and 22 jumbo frets.

The American Performer Telecaster, created in Corona, CA, combines authentic Fender tone with modern materials. Yosemite single-coil pickups, designed for dynamic sound, are located on both the bridge and neck. The “Tele” also sports a Greasebucket tone circuitry created to shape the highs without adding bass, a modern “C” shaped neck, 9.5” radius fingerboard, 22 frets, alder body, rosewood or maple fingerboard, and the 3- saddle strings-thru-body Tele bridge pickguard. A durable yet fierce classic guitar that never goes out of style.

The breathtaking new American Performer Telecaster Hum creates a high-output tone mixed with a rich vintage sound making the “Tele” a euphonic legend. This new model combines the Yosemite single-coil bridge pickup and a wax-potted DoubleTap humbucking neck pickup, controlled by a push/pull tone pot, allowing both that warm humbucker girth and the single coil crispness. The American Performer Telecaster Hum also features Greasebucket tone circuitry, modern “C” shaped neck, and 22 jumbo frets made especially useful for bending notes and playing chords up the neck with perfect intonation.

The new American Performer Mustang provides a distinctive take on everyone’s favorite underground model. This spirited instrument includes the Yosemite single-coil Mustang pickups, the American Performer Mustang bridge and tremolo unit, and a mod 4-ply aged white pearled pickguard for a unique aesthetic. The vintage-modern Mustang bridge features grooved saddles that keep your strings where they belong, no matter how hard you play. The American Performer Precision Bass, or the seminal “P-Bass,” designed to resemble the popular Stratocaster cutaway shape, also features the Yosemite split single-coil middle pickup and Jazz Bass bridge pickup for diverse tonality. The Greasebucket tone circuitry effortlessly rolls off highs without adding extra bass in a unique patented Fender design. This “P-Bass” also includes 20 medium-jumbo frets, alder body, and maple or rosewood fingerboard.
