This 1500-foot (457m) cable, manufactured by the reputable brand Camplex, is designed with the needs of broadcast and pro-audio applications in mind.
Constructed with high-quality, durable materials, this fiber optic cable is both rugged and lightweight. It features a highly flexible tight-buffered tactical design, making it ideal for multiple deployments in field production, outside broadcast, rental houses, and more.
The internal aramid strength members provide superior crush resistance, even in high-traffic areas, ensuring reliable performance when handled properly. The polyurethane outer sheath is designed to withstand crushing by both military tanks and Outside Broadcast vehicles, demonstrating its robustness and resilience.
Each assembly is multi-stage machine polished and tested for less than -55dB RL, with test results for each channel supplied with each cable. The cable reel includes a broadcast fiber optic cable reel with a connector protection cavity and a hinged latching door, ensuring proper support and maintaining the critical bend radius required by fiber optic cables.
The fanouts are color-coded with Aqua or Blue to indicate the OM3 Laser Enhanced Fiber Type, which is 10G Ethernet compatible. This makes the cable suitable for a wide range of environments, including broadcast, industrial, mining, and petrochemical settings.
