Constructed with multi-channel fiber optic cables, this tactical snake reel is built to withstand multiple deployments. Its high flexibility is attributed to the tight-buffered tactical cables that feature internal aramid strength members. These members provide exceptional crush resistance, making it suitable for high traffic areas when handled appropriately.
The outer sheath of this fiber optic snake reel is crafted with polyurethane, a material known for its ability to resist crushing by military tanks and Outside Broadcast vehicles. This makes it an ideal choice for commercial, broadcast, military, industrial, mining, and petrochemical environments.
Each assembly of this 2-Channel ST Multimode Aqua OM3 Fiber Optic Tactical Snake Reel is multi-stage machine polished and tested for less than -55dB RL. Test results for each channel are supplied with each cable, ensuring you of its quality and performance.
Built in a state-of-the-art LEMO trained fiber shop, this fiber optic snake reel is accompanied by full repair services. It includes broadcast fiber optic cable reels with a connector protection cavity and a hinged latching door. Each reel is carefully selected to provide proper support and maintain the critical bend radius required by fiber optic cables.
For cables over 25', it is recommended to store them on a cable reel. The fanouts of this fiber optic snake reel are color-coded with Aqua or Blue to indicate the OM3 Laser Enhanced Fiber Type, which is 10G Ethernet compatible.
