While the recordings are well balanced, I feel the top end is slightly boosted around 10k which pleasantly added a crisp clarity without any distortion. For a mid-sized, mid-level, multi-patterned condenser mic, I’m quite impressed with the TAC700 and its performance in a post-production setting."
