I went from a Brand name printer because I run Linux and I understood they were the easiest to set up with my OS. Boy was I wrong such a pain in my butt! Finally had enough and Bought a Brother HL-L3210CW! Wow, incredible machine After many years I burned it out and bought the one I'm using now HL-L3295CDW! So far it is a work horse and the company is very quick with a response if I have any questions. Would I do it again? I did and will continue to use Brother for as long as they are in business. If your running Linux this is your company. Everything just works!

So far so good, Printer arrived in a timely manner. Was packed very well. I unpacked it and loaded both the cartridges and paper. Printed without a hitch and has been perfect so far. It is a little large but the price was great for such a good printer.

I have had this unit for about 2 years. Performs well and in colour! Have only had to chage the black toner once, others holding up well.

The printer works well and has a very high yield. However, there are a couple minor inconveniences. It does not automatically print front and back, you have to manually feed it. And I noticed thicker paper like cardstock gets jammed easily. I would expect it to be a little more durable for the price, but for everyday use it's nice.

So I could not get the first printer to work with wifi and I Worked with support for multiple days. Eventually, they sent me a new printer with the same problem. Could not get it to hook up to Wi-Fi. So I went out and purchased another printer. Epson and it worked immediately.

Printer works well, prints quickly, has setting to do reverse collate or standard. Only issue is once the printer goes to "sleep" upon "waking up" randomly prints multiple pages of scanner error codes when there is no scanner. Tried disconnecting from computer and reconnecting to no avail. Not using the wireless features have a direct wired connection.

Enjoying the quality print it gives me very clean documents. My only complaint could be a personal problem but I can't get it on my wireless setup or to AirPrint for my iPad or phone. Had no issues connecting with my previous HP product but so far no success with the Brother. So just leaving it hardwired to my computer for now.

is decent printer not made to do multiple full size pictures they have a criss cross pattern uses lots of ink for pictures daily use is good . gets very hot after 50 pictures you have to let it cool down for 5 minutes so it does not get heated paper jams.

I purchased this printer primarily for printing photos. I also thought they would supply a software program to allow you to do that. That said, a software program did come with the printer. If you just want to print 8X10 photos it works, but if you want to print 4 photos onto a 8X10 sheet of photo paper you can't. I also tried to print a 4X6 photo but it wouldn't recognize the size. It also said you could download your photo's into the program, when I tried, the program froze, and not only did it freeze, it wouldn't allow me to download my photo's to another program. I had to uninstall the program. Since I don't have another photo program at this time, I can't speak as to photo quality. It does print in color and the color looks OK. I have used bother printers for a long time, and have been completely happy with their performance until now. Supplying no program is better than supplying a program that doesn't work, and is so full of bugs that it prevents other programs from working.

This printer has been great. Prints quickly and the quality is great. I chose a toner printer because I was so tired of ink always drying up in a regular printer. So far this one seems more cost effective and I have had zero issues with it.

I use my printer once or twice a year. Every time I need it, I spend an hour running all the head cleaning utilities to finally get it to print right and then I'm out of ink. Made the switch to color laser. It's priced right and refills are not that expensive, unlike HP. The WiFi is excellent. The printer is always on but hibernating. When I send it a document it always prints just like it's supposed to. Highly recommend, never going back to inkjet.

I received this printer as a gift. It was very easy to set up. My daughter and son in law gave it to me for Christmas. The only draw back is they thought it was an all in one with a scanner . It works great . Does not take long to start up since I power it off all the time. I can't wait to see how long the tonner cartridges last.

No true service manual available with exploded diagrams, part numbers etc. Toners and components are microshipped and have counters/expirations.

Great value for the price. Web interface is as configurable as any professional device on your network. After using it sporadically for about four months, I did have to power cycle and setup wifi again from scratch. Brother is the only device company I have used that makes it very easy to find all the information needed on a device - even deprecated ones.

From new the single sheet feeder would not work correctly and when it might it did not print on the labels accurately and be way off. It would always come up with a "paper jam" error and there never was one even holding the 1 sheet with the lightest touch. Tech support sounded over seas and scripted so no help.

Found a great deal on this unit so finally went to laser. Toner is much cheaper then ink, will pay for itself in a short time. Still have Ink Jet for Photo but do so little photo printing.
